LifeWorx is a premier elder care and domestic staffing company seeking a Client Relationship Manager to join our new Arlington, Virginia office, responsible for consultative sales, client relationship management, and business development for concierge-level elder care clients throughout the DMV area.
What are the responsibilities of a Client Relations Manager?
- Full Sales Cycle & Client Management: Manage the complete sales process from initial inquiry through placement, guiding families through every step while delivering a high-touch, concierge experience.
- Client Consultation & Needs Assessment: Build trusted relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding their care needs, educating them on LifeWorx services, and recommending the best solutions for their families.
- Candidate Matching & Placement: Partner with Recruiting Associates to identify and recommend the strongest caregiver matches while ensuring an exceptional experience for both clients and caregivers.
- Referral Development & Community Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, assisted living communities, physicians, social workers, geriatric care managers, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare professionals to generate new referral opportunities.
- Account Management & Retention: Maintain ongoing relationships with clients after placement by providing exceptional service, addressing concerns, and identifying opportunities for additional support.
- Sales Administration & CRM Management: Maintain accurate client records, service requests, sales activities, and follow-up communication within our CRM and internal systems.
- Collaboration & Coverage: Work closely with Recruiters and Operations to ensure seamless service delivery while providing support to teammates as business needs evolve.
What are the requirements of a Client Relations Manager?
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree required, along with a minimum of 2 years of professional sales, account management, recruiting, staffing, or other client-facing experience.
- Communication & Relationship Building: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and the ability to build trust with clients, referral partners, and internal team members.
- Sales & Organization: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Schedule & Location: Full-time, in-office (Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM).
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel locally as needed for networking events, training programs, and business development opportunities.
- Preferred Experience: Prior experience in staffing, healthcare, home care, hospitality, luxury services, or consultative sales is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Local market knowledge and/or familiarity with the medical, healthcare, or senior care industry is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
- Total First-Year Earnings: $120,000 – $150,000 expected total compensation.
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $70,000.
- Commission Structure: Direct percentage of recurring revenue generated by clients you manage (no draw). Guaranteed minimum commission during onboarding, with target earnings of approximately $1,000 – $1,500/week, paid out monthly.
